Frontline Worker won going away in race two at Punchestown, a maiden hurdle over an extended two miles.
This race was for horses who hadn't finished in the first five in their last couple of hurdle races.
She went off 7/2 and was always to the fore but raced keenly for Conor McNamara.
The Presenting mare took over from Listentillitellyea after two out was soon closely attended to by Diamondinthemud.
She was headed by a ridden-along Diamondinthemud entering the home straight but McNamara hadn't gone for his mount yet.
He exerted his arms approaching the last where his mount got on terms and jumped it slightly better. She got away from it well and kept on nicely to draw three and a quarter lengths clear. Runner-up Diamondinthemud went off 5/1 and was four lengths clear of Listentillitellyea (3/1 - 9/4f).
McNamara said: “She relaxed as the race went on but got a bit lit up towards the second last and I got left in front.
“It was ok as she gave herself a breather in front and she needed it between the last and the line.
“She was good and tough. Her jumping was very good and hopefully she can go forward from here.
“That’s my first winner for Henry (de Bromhead) and hopefully the first of many.”
