The Folkes Tiara completed a quick double for trainer Henry de Bromhead when coming out best in an exciting finish to the EasyFix Equine Handicap Chase at Fairyhouse.
There were six horses separated by no more than a length at the final fence but The Folkes Tiara struck the front early on the run-in and kept on well under Brian Hayes.
The 8/1 chance beat The King Of Prs by three-quarters of a length with 7/2 favourite American Mike a length and a quarter further back in third.
The Knockeen trainer also landed the previous Race And Stay Ladies Handicap Chase with Sam Magee (6/1).
De Bromhead said, "That was great. He had lost his form a little bit and it's great to see him back. Brian was brilliant on him.
“I'm delighted for the lads, Johnny, Paddy and Willie.
“He jumped unreal. Brian said he thought he was beaten coming to the last and he said the leap he put in there was brilliant and winged it.
“He won at Leopardstown last year and he'll be a couple of pounds higher now but it's a very valuable pot. We're delighted to win today.”
